My role involves organising the books and resources that are sent to schools but I am often asked by colleagues for help with spreadsheets, spelling and general maths problems. SLS Librarians

Our SLS Librarians are trained professionals who visit schools on a regular basis to provide advice and practical help on all aspects of school library planning, management and use.

The aim is to provide time and professional expertise to assist teachers with library responsibly to expand and develop their libraries for the maximum benefit of their pupils.

SLS Librarians can provide reader development activities. They also deliver information literacy sessions in consultation with class teachers in order to reinforce the skills pupils need to use their libraries effectively.
